About
I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Mexican-American clinical psychologist and Los Angeles native. I have extensive training working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as recent experience supporting geriatric clients and individuals with complex medical and co-occurring mental health conditions. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to underserved and traditionally oppressed communities, where access to quality mental health services is limited. My approach centers on building strong therapeutic relationships, understanding each client’s unique needs, and directly addressing the impacts of systemic injustice, racism, and intergenerational trauma. I incorporate cultural values and strengths into treatment, and collaborate with families and care teams to promote holistic well-being. I am committed to empowering clients of all ages to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
